Winter

Wow, I looked at my blog and I haven't posted anything since Halloween. How sad is that? Hopefully I'll get with the program soon and post some Christmas pictures before it's summer.

Costume Time

Halloween is just about here and the kids are excitetd. Cody of course went with a scary costume, and Bonnie had it in her head that she wanted to be a Star Trek Captain. This required me to go and but a pattern and sew her outfit. I've never sewn anything like this. I think it turned out pretty good, even though it's not perfect. She's enjoying it however. She wore it to our ward party, orchestra concert, Halloween this week, and school dance tonight. It's getting some good use this year.

Concerts Begin

The band and orchestra concerts are now beginning. Cody has his first last night with the Jazz Band. He had a solo that is done ad-lib. I think he did a pretty good job.

FALL

We had a fun trip on the Nebo Loop on Conference Weekend. It was a little cold, but beautiful, especially on the Payson side. We found a little lake, Maple Lake, that we walked around and we've decided that this is a definate "re-visit" place.

Finally! A Back Yard!!!!!!1

Rob has been working so hard this summer, with a little help from the rest of us. We finally have what looks like a back yard. Rob has even ran power out to the shed. It is so nice to rest in the back yard now, and Rob will be able to do things in the shed this winter if he wants. The pictures aren't the greatest but I have to take the photos when I'm thinking about it or it's not going to happen. This is our little haven!

NAUVOO!!!!!

Finally, I'm updating the blog. I'm sorry if people have been looking and there's been nothing here. It has really been a crazy, busy summer. We went the first part of June to Nauvoo and since then we've had girls camp, family reunions, school, summer band, and Rob's been working 24/6 at his job. Wow! Where has the summer gone. Here are some pictures of our fantastic, once in a lifetime trip to Nauvoo. We will never forget this amazing place!

May Updates

May is the last month of school and things are getting crazy.

Cody is now taking private saxaphone lessons and this is going to really help him out. He's got his spring concert, Jazz band try-outs, and he's got his solo performance that I'm going to be accompanying.

Bonnie has her spring concert coming up for orchestra, and she's been practicing hard. She also has 6th grade graduation! She excited to be out of elementary school, and to start Jr. High. She will be in all honors classes next year, plus orchestra! You go girl!
